Greetings

Dear Members of the Korean Society of Biological Nursing Science,

Since its establishment in 1998, our society has strived to provide scientific evidence for nursing practice, following the definition that 'Nursing is an art and science.'

In response to the rapidly evolving healthcare environment, we aim to cultivate nurses and nursing researchers equipped with the ability to adapt to and utilize emerging information and technologies. To achieve this, we host annual spring and winter academic conferences, faculty training workshops, and publish textbooks in biological nursing science.

Additionally, we operate various research funding programs, including general research, policy research, major biological nursing research, follow-up biological nursing research, and the Korean Outstanding Paper Award.

Our society's journal, the Journal of Biological Nursing Science, is indexed in the Korea Citation Index (KCI) and published quarterly. It is also registered with KoreaMed and CINAHL, and SCOPUS. To further our international reach, we are actively preparing for indexing in MEDLINE.

The remarkable growth and development of our society have been made possible by the dedication and passion of our past presidents, board members, and members. We deeply appreciate your contributions. Moving forward, our society will continue to play a vital role in nursing education, research, and the broader healthcare community. We ask for your continued interest and active participation.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Chae Young Ran
President, Korean Society of Biological Nursing Science
